Giannone Poultry is equipped with an ultra-modern air-chilling system that has revolutionized the tradional water-based approach to chilling chicken.  Air-chilled poultry maintains its natural meat juices, more accurately reflecting the final, cooked weight of the chicken.  In addtion, air-chilling ensures valuable protein and enzymes are preserved.  By eliminating water, harmful bacteria such as salmonella and e-coli and virus are kept in check.

 Giannone Poultry completes its normal growth cycle using a diet of corn, soya and wheat and a supply of natural vitamins and minerals.  Housing facilities feature large, arena-like areas to give chickens free roaming.  This approach produces leaner, tastier meat with a higher nutritional content compared to conventional processes.
